Painting a Safer Tomorrow: Cyber Security Art Competition Held at GHSS Chaunrkhal
In an era where the digital world shapes how we learn, communicate, and grow, cyber safety has become as fundamental as foundational literacy. With this vision, an engaging and insightful Drawing & Painting Competition was hosted on 15 October 2026 at Government High Secondary School (GHSS) Chaunrkhal, Pauri Garhwal. Organized under the auspices of the Chhabi Vishwa Foundation with technical support from iSEA (Information Security Education and Awareness), the event brought together young minds to creatively interpret digital safety concepts. An interactive cyber awareness session is also conducted by Dr. Atul Bamrara – a cyber ambassador of iSEA – MeitY. Bridging the gap between theory and everyday digital practices, Dr. Bamrara sensitized students to modern digital risks and safe navigation habits.

Theme in Focus: “Cyber Security – Why and How?”
Open to students from Grades 6 to 10, the competition served as a canvas for critical thinking on real-world digital hygiene. Using watercolours, crayons, and sketching pencils, the students translated complex technical precautions into visually compelling narratives. The artwork powerfully captured key cybersecurity best practices:
- Password Hygiene: The importance of robust, alphanumeric passwords to secure accounts.
- Phishing & Scam Defense: Spotting malicious links, fake calls, and fraudulent lotteries.
- Digital Vigilance: Staying alert against identity theft and unauthorized access.
- Responsible Citizenship: Using social platforms and internet tools ethically to build a safer cyberspace.

Celebrating the Winners
The panel evaluated entries based on originality, adherence to the theme, artistic nuance, and clarity of the message conveyed. After a rigorous judging process, the top honors were awarded to:
- 🥇 First Place: Kinjal
- 🥈 Second Place: Anshul
- 🥉 Third Place: Ankush Rawat
Along with the top three winners, commendation certificates and awards were presented to the top performers to acknowledge and encourage their innovative expressions.

Empowering the Next Generation of Cyber-Aware Citizens
The initiative went beyond artistic expression—it ignited meaningful discussions among students, teachers, and the local community about the collective duty of staying cyber-safe. The school administration extended warm appreciation to the CHHABI Vishwa Foundation and iSEA for empowering grassroots schools with essential digital safety pedagogy. The vibrant posters created by Chaunrkhal’s young artists stand as proof that art can be one of the most persuasive mediums to build widespread digital resilience.
