Poster Making and Essay Writing Competitions on Cancer Awareness Held in Nirjuli

In a combined initiative to harness both visual creativity and analytical thought, Chhabi Sewa Foundation, Chhabi Vishwa Foundation, and Mon Indigenous Foundation organized a dual Poster Making and Essay Writing Competition on Cancer Awareness: Prevention and Early Detection. The program was hosted on September 16, 2026 at Alphabet School, Nirjuli.

Under the banner “Create Awareness, Spread Hope — Together for a Cancer-Free Tomorrow,” the event provided students with two distinct platforms to advocate for community wellness: visual expression through poster design and in-depth exploration through written essays.

Key Highlights of the Events

• Dual Creative Tracks: Participants had the opportunity to channel their voices either through paint and brush in the Poster Making Competition or through researched, persuasive prose in the Essay Writing Competition.
• Focus on Prevention and Early Detection: Both categories emphasized essential themes including recognizing early symptoms, adopting healthy lifestyle habits, debunking medical myths, and advocating for timely clinical screenings.
